FUNERAL PLANS & WISHES
Information on this page
It is important to let others know of your wishes for your funeral and some people also like to pre-pay for the arrangements.
Many people do not make their loved ones aware of their funeral wishes and when the time comes, relatives are left second guessing what would be best. A way to make it very easy for your loved ones is to write down your wishes and leave them in a pre-arranged place either digitally on a computer or print them off and let others know where to find them.
Download our useful PDF questionnaire which covers everything from questions such as burial or cremation, coffin type to music. This way your are far more likely to have the funeral you would have wanted.
Pre-Paid Funeral Plans
Planning for later in life is never an easy thing to do, but it can be comforting and reassuring to know that you have taken care of your arrangements, including your funeral. By taking some time now, you can provide both financial and practical help for your loved ones in the future.
As the cost of funerals continues to rise yearly, it may make sense to make a financial provision in advance. By taking out a funeral plan now, the funeral director’s costs are guaranteed to be covered no matter how much prices rise, as long as we carry out your funeral and your requirements don’t change, your family will not be asked to pay a single penny more, regardless how long you have had the plan or what happens to our costs in the meantime.
In your initial payment, you may also include an allowance towards third party (disbursements) costs such as the crematorium fees, burial, medical fees and payment to the minister or celebrant.
Our personalised plans are tailored to your requirements and as such the price is given after we have had a meeting to discuss your needs.
