Dedicated to offering personalisation, participation and professionalism.

Our desire is to help people create funerals that can be unique and therapeutic experiences, by truly representing the life, values and wishes of the deceased, as well as their friends and family.

“Throughout all the arrangements you have been sensitive and compassionate, we were so pleased to be able to arrange the type of service that we know he would have wanted”

At Attwood Funerals we want to help de-industrialise and re-personalise funerals, we make sure that you feel comfortable and unpressured about making decisions for the funeral of a loved one.
We offer advice and information about the wide range of choices available for traditional church, contemporary, green funerals and bespoke including council and church owned cemeteries, woodland burials, cremation, ashes interment and scattering.

We encourage you to participate as much as you wish, we help to create personal ceremonies by providing ministers or celebrants, and the fitting selection of venues, music, vehicles and other special personal touches.

Testimonials from our clients.

  • I just wanted to say thank you. Everyone I spoke to was so impressed with the service and the way that you conducted it. I had so many comments about how the content of your words really helped them in an uplifting way. There is nothing I would have changed with hindsight – it could not have been better. For me, it was the environment you created and the pace of your service that I thought was so skilfully done; like an artist creating a picture.

  • The whole thing was the perfect send off. We were looked after brilliantly, we were met at home to discuss the arrangement. Mike and Kate worked together to ensure it was all so personal. Everyone said it was the nicest funeral they had ever been to.

  • My words seem so inadequate to thank you enough for such a wonderful service. I know my husband put a lot of his input into his own service, but you pulled it all together and added many special thought provoking sentiments that touched us all. It was very evident that you totally absorbed what we had said to you when you visited. Thank you. Whilst it was such a desperately sad occasion, you made it perfect in every way and I shall be eternally grateful to you.
